What time is it Man?

Friend from my dirah woke me up few days ago (just to note, I live only with Americans). I’ve asked him ‘What time is it?’, he looked at me weirdly, I’ve asked again, and his facial expression did not change.

Than i realized that I’ve asked him in polish not english.

Wow… hilarious? isn’t it?

For some time already i think in english, meaning also in english. In general if I’m in Poland I’m in a polish mode and i think in polish. Outside of Poland (chutz l’polin :))) I’m in an english mode, so i think in english.

Probably english is part of my sub conscience, at last in certain extend. Can beĀ  that when somebody wakes me up in the morning, the language which is deeper in sub conscience will have the upper hand and that would be polish. That means that even though at certain time i would be in English mode in some situations i will still react in polish.

Or maybe in the evening previous day i was talking for couple hours with Swed in my yeshivah, who speaks polish also and in certain extend I entered polish mode… and English is as deep in my sub conscience as Polish..
