Sentimentalism

As I am in the yeshivah and I’m among people from various countries and continents. I try to realize the differences, among all the similarities, and I’m getting better and better in it.

One sephardi guy from LA from my dirah started saying where did he live and what did he used to do with his friends. He used to go to the balcony where he would see a friend, on another balcony. The friend was always when he needed him. Even if the friend wouldn’t be there, he could have been there…

Once he went on to the balcony. He waited… and waited. Nothing happened. He wasn’t there. The friend moved out…

He spoke well about… something hard to describe…

He told me he is sentimental.

Maybe I also am….
