I’ve spent shabbos with the Gordon familly and my friend Momo. It was very nice.
Mr. Teniel Gordon is orginaly from Wales and mrs. Gordon from London. He is an avrech in Midrash Shmuel, my yeshivah.
They have a very cute child, whose name is Aharon Meir.
When i first time came to my yeshiva - for 3 weeks before Tisha BeAv 2 years ago - I was learning with Teniel - thats how we became friends.

I’m in the same yeshiva as in the previous year - Midrash Shmuel. iIt’s mostly american yeshiva located in Sharay Chesed in Yerushalaim. I go to Rosh Yeshivah’s shiur. The masechta in elul zman is Bavah Basrah eighth perek.
It’s great. As it is my second year here, people already know me.
Nice mr. rabbi. dr. Kanowski to find out that you are reading my blog…
To all: gmar chasima tova!

besides rule of no breakfast + lunch for missing shacharis and no lunch + supper for missing shiur there are some additions:
- dirahs have to be always closed even when somebody is in.
- if you miss shiur you cannot eat lunch only, but missing evening seder you cannot eat supper next day - they check who showed up and who not.
The Rosh haShana was good. Year ago i think i had like more kavana and went more into it but it was still good.
In detail, first day i couldn’t really concentrate on the shmoneh esreh but second day was much better. On both days i was changing places and second part of musaf i stood on the stage where the choir is and atmosphere is more intense.
I ate all my meals in the yeshiva, as to have more “free” - time is money… sorry…. torah … of course… yes… yes…) time afterwards. For the first seuda I joined the Rosh Yeshiva.
I love rosh hashana, torah and eretz israel it’s all amazing here.
I had very happy mood, as maybe never. Shaking hands with people and exchanging greetings makes me feel that i’m in a big familly here in yeshiva.
Seems like people like me, and that’s important to me.
He was moming even on rosh hashana.
After first day, the Rosh was not happy that so many people passed out and in, so he made that they closed the door and people could not go to bathroom freely - there is always something which you could not anticipate.
Finally, after not the most pleasant journey, I’ve arrived at the yeshivah.
I had a very worm welcome during the shiur from the Rosh Yeshiva and others.
It’s nice to be back. I’ve missed it here…
